Problem Description

We spoke with 100 teachers to gather direct feedback about the technology issues they and their students face daily. Key concerns included battery life, with many students forgetting to charge devices, slow performance, and complicated software interfaces. The educational technology landscape is cluttered with numerous hardware options and software platforms, leading to a chaotic environment where educators struggle to juggle multiple systems without a cohesive all-in-one solution.

Experiment and Results

To address these challenges, we conducted an MVP test of TechDesk at Jim Hill High School from April 5th to May 17th, comparing its hardware performance against Chromebooks and Galaxy tablets. Students rated TechDesk highly, with all six participants awarding it five stars for durability and deeming it the best for battery life. (Note: the device remained plugged in while testing.) Our educational specialist noted that students appreciated the convenience of TechDesk, with four out of six ranking it as their overall favorite device and three out of six expressing a strong desire to use it across all their classes.

This testing not only demonstrated TechDesk's superior durability and functionality but also reinforced its position as an ideal solution for modern classroom needs.
